Talent Summit 2016

Save the Date! The 2016 GSDC Talent Summit will be held on January 21 at River’s Edge Convention Center. The purpose of this event is to provide a structured environment for business, education institutions and job seekers to interact around talent related topics and opportunities in Greater St. Cloud.

Your day will be packed full of open and interactive conversations between employers and job seekers. We will end the day with a Career Fair event. There are only 50 spots available in the Career Fair for employers. Contact Gail Cruikshank at (320)257-4753 or gcruikshank@greaterstcloud.com for more information. There is a small cost to employers participating in the Career Fair segment. We are anticipating 500 summit attendees with a goal of 250 job seekers and 250 employers and workforce partners. Aside from the Career Fair exhibitors, there is no charge to attend the Summit but registration is needed. Registration is now open: go to www.GreaterStCloudJobSpot.com and look for the link at the bottom of the right column on the home page.

Coffee and Careers at Capital ONE Café
Coffee and Careers at Capital One Café is an event that offers a smaller, more intimate environment for job seekers and select employers to interact in a more casual and less intimidating environment. During Coffee and Careers, a job seeker is able to stop by the Café anytime during the 2-hour event and visit with four employers to learn more about their company and possible employment opportunities.
Job seekers will also find support from our College Careers Services Team representing area colleges and universities. Members of the DAYTA Marketing team will also assist job seekers with resume and interviewing skills, along with tips on creating or enhancing a Linked In profile.

Our 6-part Coffee and Career Fall Series is taking place now through January 8, 2016. If you are interested in participating in the event, please contact Gail Cruikshank at 320-257-4753 orgcruikshank@greaterstcloud.com.
