Greater St. Cloud Snapshot Challenge
The GSDC is excited to kick off the Greater St. Cloud Snapshot Challenge, a first ever region-wide photo contest running from July 9 through August 29, 2025.
This is your chance to help shine a light on what makes our region exceptional—and possibly win a cash prize.
With $1,000 in total prize money on the line and a spotlight on local talent, the Greater St. Cloud Snapshot Challenge invites residents, visitors, and photographers of all skill levels to submit original photos taken within 25 miles of St. Cloud, including Benton, Sherburne, and Stearns counties.
What We’re Looking For: Photos that highlight the beauty, community, and spirit of the Greater St. Cloud community in all seasons—think scenic landscapes, lively events, neighborhood charm, unique businesses, and everyday magic. Submissions may fall into the following categories:

How to Enter: Submit your photos below through August 29. No photography experience is required—just a passion for capturing life in the Greater St. Cloud community.
Prizes: Three cash prizes will be awarded:
- 🥇 1st Place – $500
- 🥈 2nd Place – $300
- 🥉 3rd Place – $200
Winning photos may be featured in GSDC marketing campaigns, social media, and community promotions.
Entries with people with identifiable faces must be accompanied with a completed Authorization of Use of Photo Form.
