SCSU NOW HAS 100% ONLINE MBA PROGRAM FOR BUSY PROFESSIONALS

St. Cloud State University’s Herberger Business School has begun offering Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree offerings to include a 100% online option that can be completed in as few as 10 months.

SCSU says its new online programs are designed with working professionals in mind, especially those who wish to expand their careers but need the flexibility to juggle courses with family and work demands.

Adding to this new format, SCSU’s Herberger Business School MBA program engages students in a multidisciplinary approach to identify and solve business challenges, giving students who complete the program a competitive edge as they advance their careers.

“Our core mission is to provide high-quality, cutting-edge degree programs that meet the ever-evolving workforce needs of Minnesota and the Midwest,” said St. Cloud State University President Robbyn Wacker. “Extending our MBA to adult learners and working professionals is one aspect of our University’s It’s Time framework to ‘extend our reach’ by making our high-quality academic programs accessible and in a format that is convenient for working adults, preparing these professionals to be effective leaders in the next step in their careers.”

The Herberger Business School is proud to have held AACSB accreditation for over 45 years, demonstrating a long-standing record of academic excellence and leadership in the region. In addition to the highest standard of business school accreditation, a Business Advisory Council comprised of alumni and influential regional, national, and global business leaders plays a vital role in ensuring the ongoing success, growth, and vitality of the school.

“It’s exciting to see our program grow!” MBA program Interim Director Matt Trombley said. “It’s filled with students who are motivated to develop themselves professionally and personally in the MBA program, and we are pleased that our newly revised online format has increased access for many new students who now have an MBA option that fits into their busy lives.”

The MBA program features rigorous, relevant coursework that will prepare students to make an impact in leadership positions in their respective businesses and organizations.  The program provides an additional benefit through an experienced Executive Coach who provides students with career development insights, interview preparation, and professional skill development.   The online MBA programs include specializations in Management and Leadership, Accounting, Finance, Professional Sales, and Information Systems.

“I really enjoy seeing how our faculty are engaged in sharing their expertise in this highly accessible format,” said Herberger Business School Dean Katherina Pattit. “The great classes they have developed for our students use state of the art online pedagogy to ensure student success and connection.”

As a leader in central Minnesota, St. Cloud State provides graduate education in more than 60 applied certificate, masters and doctoral programs. The Herberger Business School offers the distinctive Master of Science in Information Assurance program in addition to the MBA. Preparing undergraduate students, the Herberger Business School offers 9 majors, a Business Honors Program and several degree specializations so that students can customize their degree and qualifications based on their interests. The school offers excellent learning and networking opportunities for students through close ties to business and industry leaders throughout the region who serve as mentors, classroom speakers, and volunteers.
