Attention Manufacturers: COVID-19 Vaccinations Available

Manufacturing is included in one of the new vaccine priority groups released by the State. There are several ways in which people can express interest in being vaccinated or schedule appointments. Stearns County is gathering information from businesses through a 1B survey and reaching out as appointments and vaccines are available. People interested in being vaccinated should sign up through the Vaccine Connector, or contact their healthcare provider or local pharmacy to schedule an appointment. Additional information about COVID-19 can be found on the Stearns County website: https://www.stearnscountymn.gov/312/COVID-19

Engage Leaders: Global Impex USA

Global Impex USA is an international textile distributor and sourcing expert specializing in business-to-business (BTB) sales. The company produces large quantities of artisan, industrial, and military-grade textiles for clients who wish to create their products from the highest-grade material at the lowest cost.

Global Impex USA also owns two subsidiaries, Guild Apparel Co. and Stryv Medical, which aid the company for specialized forms of textile distribution. Guild Apparel Co. supplies Global Impex USA’s retail-oriented clients with merch of noteworthy athletes and creators with consumer textiles (T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, etc.). Stryv Medical produces medical fabrics (gowns, scrubs, lab coats, etc.) for large medical institutions and private practices.

From the beginning, Global Impex USA’s mission has been to exceed customer expectations by providing unparalleled quality, exceptional customer service, and cost-effective textile solutions.  Even though the world continues to face uncertainty about the future, our commitment to sourcing the finest materials for our partners without sacrificing the speed or efficiency will continue to stay the same.

We pride ourselves in hiring students as interns to provide them with a professional environment to thrive in future careers and believe that a diverse workforce enriches the company. All interns and employees, both international or domestic students, have a place here regardless of race, color, or creed. Many of our various departments are run by both male and female executives. Lastly, we strive to achieve excellence and for all our employees to reach their full potential.

Our primary objectives are to provide the highest quality textiles at the lowest cost, become an industry leader in innovation and strategic development, forge lasting business relationships with past and current clients, provide excellent customer service through communication and dedication, and source premium products for our valued customers.

Our various memberships and affiliations include IFAI, MEDA, and PPAI. We were also featured in the SC Times, Specialty Fabrics Review, and eTextile Communications for presenting our numerous findings on the textile industry and future outlook. We also have local partnerships with central Minnesota banks, insurance companies, and decorators/screen printers like Dubow Textiles, Krillian, and many more. Our office is in downtown St. Cloud, and we have warehousing with Myers Transportation Warehouse and former Fingerhut warehouses. We have warehouses in Texas, South Carolina, and Georgia for our subsidiaries conducting domestic and international business.

Through Guild Apparel Co., we are looking to further expand our brand awareness and influence by partnering with noteworthy athletes. We have recently partnered with The Cut Agency, which houses 11 professional athletes, such as Amani Hooker, Khali Mack, Xavier Rhodes, and more. With Stryv Medical, we are continually supplying medical equipment and apparel for healthcare providers in need. Our vast range of textiles and fabrics allows us to create international connections and build successful startups by providing hands-on experiences, experiential learning, and internships to the local community.
